IPL fined Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill after his team was found guilty of maintaining a slower over rate during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, against the Chennai Super Kings at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 26, Tuesday.
Shubman Gill and his team first offence under IPL's Code of Conduct pertaining to minimum over rate violationns, Gill has been fined Rs 12 Lakh for the offence.
Gill suffered his first defeat in his edition of the tournament, going down to defending champions Chennai Super Kings by 63 runs on Tuesday.
