The protest orgainsed by All Assam Students Union (AASU) postponed the agitation against the citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) have been postponed on March 7, across all the districts of Assam.
The anti-CAA movement protest that were supposed to be held on Monday with bike rallies, which were be taken out across the districts headquaters of the state., due to clash with ongoing examinations of Class XII the rallies postponed accordingly.
As per reports, on March 9, AASU President Utpal Sarma said they will stage a 12-hour hunger strike from 6am in the headquaters to protest the move to frame CAA rules.
AASU will be orgainsing a programme to pay a tributes to the five-youths killed in the anti-CAA movement by lighting lamps in theitr memory by its local units.
