EAM Jaishankar, Global Envoys Experience Jeep, Elephant Safari At Kaziranga National Park

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, accompanied by Heads of Missions and Ambassadors from over 45 countries, embarked on a mesmerizing Elephant Safari at Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity and conservation success.

The high-profile visit comes as part of a broader diplomatic engagement centred around Assam’s growing global significance. Jaishankar, who arrived in Jorhat on Sunday evening, is set to participate in the Advantage Assam 2.0 investment summit in Guwahati, aimed at showcasing the state's economic potential to the world.

On Monday morning, the leaders were clicked taking elephant ride and later at jeep safarai.


The ambassadors first took the elephant safari inside the park's central range at Kohora with Jaishankar riding the famed elephant Pradyumna.

Speaking to the reporters at the Kaziranga National Park, EAM S Jaishankar said, "The experience was very good, we saw rhinos, water buffalo, and deer. We also seen these animals in books and movies, this was an amazing experience.


Assam Agriculture Minister, Atul Bora Kaziranga Lok Sabha MP Kamakhaya Prasad Tasa Kaziranga National Park director Sonali Ghosh and DFO Arun Vignesh accompanied guests during the safari.
