The Haryana Police have made a request for the cancellation of passport and visas during the ongoing farmer's protest of those who allegedly involved during the 'Dilli Chalo' March. Since February 13, when the security personnel stopped their first march towards the nation's capital, the protesters have been camped at the Khanauri and Sambhu points on the Punjab Haryana border.
DSP of Ambala, Joginder Sharma said, 'We identified them in the CCTV and drone cameras who have brought violence into Haryana from Punjab and damaged public properties, we successfully identified them. We will request and ask the Embassy and Ministry to cancel their passports and visas. Their photos, name and address will given to the passport office.
Farmers are protesting in order to urge the central goverenment to grant their request, which include forgiveness of farm loans and legal guarantee for the mininmum support price (MSP) for crops.
