He said women employees of the Kabul city government have been instructed to stay indoors. Accordingly, women are being allowed only for work that cannot be replaced by men. Women who are allowed to work for work that cannot be replaced with men include skilled personnel from the design and engineering department as well as women in public toilets for women.
The mayor said a final decision on women employees of Kabul municipal department is yet to be reached. However, they mention that they will get their salaries in the meantime.
