Assam Science and Technology University has commenced the online registration process for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026, the state-level test for admission to engineering courses.
According to official sources, the application window opened on March 16 and will remain active until March 31, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply through the university’s official website.
The Assam CEE 2026 is scheduled to be held on June 7, 2026, in offline mode across designated examination centres in the state.
The entrance exam is conducted annually by ASTU for admission into B.Tech programmes offered by engineering colleges in Assam. The test will cover Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and will be of three hours’ duration.
To be eligible, applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. Candidates should have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with the required science subjects. Age criteria and relaxation norms will apply as per government rules.
Applicants are required to complete the online form, upload necessary documents, and pay the prescribed application fee through digital payment modes. Authorities have advised candidates to carefully review their submissions before finalising the application.
Admit cards for the examination are expected to be released in May 2026.
