In preparation for the upcoming Assam Legislative Assembly elections, the Kamrup district administration has established a dedicated Election Control Room to facilitate efficient poll management and address voter concerns.
Officials stated that the control room has been made fully operational to receive complaints, provide election-related information, and respond promptly to public grievances. Voters can report violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and other irregularities during the election period through this facility.
The initiative is part of the district administration’s efforts to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. The control room will act as a central monitoring unit, enabling authorities to track election-related developments and take swift action when required.
