The IIT Guwahati signed up memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Dalhousie University, Canada, and Gifu University, Japan aimed to fostering academic and research excellence.
The MoU with Dalhousie University will establish Joint Doctoral Programme aimed a dynamic research collaborations between scholars and students from both institutions.
On the other hand, IIT Guwahati and Gifu University, Japan will establish International Joint PhD Programme, IIT Guwahati and Gifu University will also start a two-year International Masters Joint Degree Programme in Food Science Technologys. Scholars will receive collective guidanace and mentors from the members.
These event was formalized during the “Japan-NER Bioeconomic Technology Cooperation Symposium 2024” (JNBTCS-2024) hosted by IIT Guwahati from 3 to 5 .
